This Privacy Policy explains how RegXperts ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our website, place an order or contact us. It applies to visitors and customers in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.
Who we are
RegXperts is operated by The RegXperts Ltd, company number 16158485, registered at 163 Frodingham Road, Scunthorpe, DN15 7NH. We are registered with the DVLA as a Registered Number Plate Supplier (RNPS number 72809) and we comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. What we collect
When you browse the site we collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit. When you place an order we additionally collect your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, registration number, proof-of-entitlement documents (for road-legal plates), and payment details processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers ourselves.
Why we collect it
We use this information to fulfil your order, comply with our DVLA obligations as a registered plate supplier, respond to support queries, prevent fraud, improve the site, and (with your consent) send marketing about new plate styles and offers.
Our lawful basis
Order fulfilment is processed under "contract" (necessary to deliver goods you have asked us to make). DVLA compliance is processed under "legal obligation". Marketing emails are processed under "consent" and you can withdraw consent at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email. Fraud prevention and site improvement are processed under "legitimate interests".
Who we share data with
We share order data with: our payment processors (for example Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna), our delivery couriers (Royal Mail, DPD or similar), and the DVLA where required by law. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with third-party advertisers.
How long we keep it
Order records and DVLA-required documentation are kept for the period required by HMRC and DVLA (currently a minimum of six years from the order date). Marketing-list email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is anonymised after thirteen months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent.
