RegXperts Returns & Refunds Policy

We want every RegXperts customer to be delighted with their plates, holders and accessories. Because the majority of our products are made to order with your registration, returns are handled slightly differently to off-the-shelf items.
Made-to-order plates
All number plates that carry your personalised registration are custom manufactured for you and are therefore exempt from the 14-day cooling off period under Regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on custom plates unless they arrive faulty, damaged in transit, or were manufactured incorrectly against the specification you submitted at checkout.
If your plates arrive damaged or incorrect, please email us at sales@regxperts.co.uk within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the issue. We will repair, remake or refund at our discretion. Replacement plates are dispatched at no cost to you. For personalised items such as plate holders, fixings, sticky pads, keyrings and badges, the same rule applies.
How to start a return
Email sales@regxperts.co.uk with your order number and the reason for the return.
We will reply within 24 working hours with a returns address and any reference number we need on the parcel.
Pack the item securely (we recommend a tracked service) and post it back to the address provided.
Once we receive and inspect the item, your refund is issued to your original payment method within 7 working days.
Faulty or damaged items
If your plates or accessories develop a manufacturing fault within 24 months of purchase, we will repair or replace them free of charge. This does not cover damage caused by accidents, road debris, harsh chemical cleaners, or fitting outside the instructions provided. To make a warranty claim, email sales@regxperts.co.uk with your order number and photos of the issue.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days. Depending on your bank or card provider, the funds may take a further 3-5 days to appear in your account. PayPal, Klarna and Shop Pay refunds appear according to that provider's policy.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
