The Bubble finish reshapes the standard character with generous corner radii and a high-domed top face. The visual effect is softer, friendlier and noticeably more dimensional — the gel layer reads almost like a row of polished black stones across the plate face.
Built on our usual 3 mm UK-pressed acrylic with a thicker raised gel layer (around 3 mm of dome height). It is one of our favourite picks for owners who want a plate that reads as character-rich without going maximalist.

What you receive
Pair, front, or rear of finished Bubble plates with the gel character cured on the acrylic base. Self-adhesive pads come fitted as standard.

Delivery & dispatch

Fitting
Self-adhesive high-bond pads fitted. Clean the surface, peel and press for 30 seconds, cure 24 hours.
Returns
Custom plates cannot be returned for change of mind. Damaged or wrong orders are replaced or refunded — photos within 14 days.
Warranty
All Road Legal and Show Plates include a 3-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Any defects must be reported within 3–5 days of delivery with clear photos. This covers manufacturing defects only — not accidental damage, misuse, incorrect fitting or normal wear.
Bubble Plate FAQs
Are Bubble Plates road-legal?
No. The character shape sits outside BS AU 145e. Supplied as a show plate for off-road and display use.
Can I have Bubble in a colour other than black?
Yes — request a colour at order in the builder, or contact our team for a fully custom Bubble build.
How does Bubble compare to 3D Gel?
3D Gel has standard character geometry. Bubble uses a rounder, higher-domed character with bigger corner radii — more visual character per inch.
