A precision two-tone character — gloss black face wrapped in a contrast edge stripe of your choice. The detail rewards a second look without ever feeling overdone.
The Two Tone build pairs a deep gloss-black 4D top face with a contrast colour wrap on the edges of each character — silver, gold, red, blue, white and more. From the front the plate reads as a clean black 4D set; from the side and at angle the colour edge catches the light and the layered build reveals itself.
It is one of our favourite finishes for owners who want something distinctive without crossing into shouty territory. Every plate is built from precision-cut UK acrylic with the edge wrap applied by hand in our workshop.

What you receive
Your Two Tone Plate arrives fully finished — gloss-black 4D character with your chosen edge wrap permanently bonded to the acrylic base. Choose pair, front only or rear only at order.

Delivery & dispatch
Premium styles dispatch in 3-5 working days. Standard Evri £3.50 (2-4 days), next-day Evri £5.99, free UK delivery over £55.
Fitting
Self-adhesive high-bond pads come fitted. Clean the mount surface, peel the backing and press for 30 seconds. Allow 24 hours to cure before washing.
Returns
Custom plates cannot be returned for change of mind. Damaged or incorrect orders are replaced or refunded — contact us with photos within 14 days.
Warranty
All Road Legal and Show Plates include a 3-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Any defects must be reported within 3–5 days of delivery with clear photos. This covers manufacturing defects only — not accidental damage, misuse, incorrect fitting or normal wear.
Two Tone Plate FAQs
Are Two Tone Plates road-legal?
No. The colour edge means the plate falls outside the BS AU 145e specification. Two Tone is supplied as a show plate for off-road and display use.
Which edge colours can I pick?
The full colour palette inside the builder — silver, gold, red, blue, white, green, orange and more.
Is the colour painted on or wrapped?
It is a precision-applied colour band fused to the side wall of the laser-cut character. It will not chip, lift or fade under normal use.
Can I also have a 4D border?
Yes — add a 4D border in the builder and pick the border colour from the same palette.
